Child Actresses Anonymous 12/03/2024 (Tue) 23:58:11 No. 31197
Films where child actresses play adult roles or more specifically roles that feature adult scenes with them in it
>>31197 Interesting concept.
>>31197 those basicity goes in here. >>25296
>>31200 I think it’s more focused iteration of that.
......... Anything?
I like the idea of this thread, but I feel like it’s a difficult thing to cultivate and really understand.
>>31197 Leon the professional Taxi Driver Lawn Dogs
>>31197 The City of Lost Children
and the two adaptations of Lolita
oh and Cuties, but idk its ok to watch or talk about that xD
I tried to do a Starlet thread similar to this (little girls looking, dressing, acting much older than their age), but that fell through.
>>31308 are my suggestions any good? could be I missunderstood
"Coming of age films"?
>>31303 I’m not sure what makes this one interesting.

Released February 1976, Taxi Driver starred the young Jodie Foster as a 12yo prostitute. Jodie was born November 1962. Robert DeNiro played Travis Bickle, as the taxi driver.
>>31314 I guess that’s an example. It’s like a specific version of the -18 thread, I guess.
>>31315 Perhaps a way to look at the difference between the two is this thread is a "serious" one. Whereas the -18 thread would be more for comedies and "bikini" movies. Thoughts?
>>31316 Explain what you mean by ā€œseriousā€?
>>31317 Drama might be a better descriptive term.
>>31320 I agree; dramas and thrillers are way more mature, evocative, and enticing than comedies, which are great, but they mostly have to keep little girls in a certain box of performing.

Released in 1978, starred a 12yo Brooke Shields as a preteen prostitute in 1917 New Orleans. Some scenes showed her fully nude. Co-starring Susan Sarandon and Keith Caradine.
>>31315 >>31316 Doesn't sound like this at all. And I don't get why we need another thread based around this. >>19079 We also have this thread and no one added to it in forever. If I'm wrong I'm wrong, but this just feels like fishing
>>31308 This is because outside of it being weird and very specific to just your taste, who decides what is defined as "acting their age?" By whos standards?
>>31325 To be fair, while that is definitely more of a subjective theme, I thought it would be creative and interesting enough to grab peoples’ attention. Either way, as I told you, Cuge, I’m relenting from making threads. :)
>>31327 You’re doing a good job not making any threads! How about cutting back on the endless, needless messages you leave in every thread
>>31328 Well, I like commenting on these girls’ posts. I don’t think anything I’m saying is particularly egregious. If you’re focusing on the sheer amount of text, I understand, but I like to mix the usual gooning with some creative discourse, but I’ll try to meet you fellow Waifuists where you’re at. :)
>>31303 I remember it had a cute girl alongside the male protagonist
>>31330 But, what makes that relevant to the theme of this thread?
>>31331 idk, ig I missunderstood the thread. like yeah she might not act mature. i dont remember much. but she was cute and I liked her

>>31500 Bumping based we need more of this
>>31727 Agreed, but most stuff is either too obscure, lost in time, or not able to be posted here. ;)
>>31728 >or not able to be posted here. How so?
>>31727 This isn't 4ch, it doesn't need to be bumped. If they want to post here, they will
>>31770 Because the rules still are what they are

>>31197 Laurine Booij (age 13) and Lotte Oskam (age 12) in Dorsvloer vol confetti (2014). I cropped it, but the camera shows more.
>>31808 > Dorsvloer vol confetti What time did it happen in the movie ?
>>31809 Around 47:30 mark
>>31809 47:37
>>31808 Damn. How the fuck did they manage to do this? šŸ˜ Also, were these the ages upon release or during filming? ;)
>>31812 Also, they could EASILY pass for late teens, or even in their twenties. INCREDBIBLE! They're like, if the Olsen Twins became hotter, as adults. No wonder you don't hear anything bad about the Netherlands. The Dutch have these precocious, grown-looking preteen goddesses to care about. ;)
>>31815 Not trying to be a nuance but I don't see this post any different than the one on /celeb/. Doesn't make sense to have 2 threads so similar. So unless you can really justify it, might as well move there
I've enjoyed all of Terry Gilliam's movies, including the underappreciated Tideland which is "Rated R for bizarre and disturbing content, including drug use, sexuality, and gruesome situations - all involving a child, and for some language." The movie opens with an intro by Gilliam. "Many of you are not going to like this film. Many of you, luckily, are going to love it....This film is seen through the eyes of a child. If it's shocking, it's because it's innocent....I was 64 years old when I made this film. I think I've finally discovered the child within me. It turned out to be a little girl." In the commentary track he goes on to explain how difficult it was to find a 10 year old actress who wasn't all dolled up and trying to look and act like a teenager. Jodelle Ferland played the role perfectly handling all sorts of bizarre and painful situations while retaining the innocence of a child. There are also some really sweet moments between her and costars Jeff Bridges and Brendan Fletcher. Short story long, after watching The Adventures of Baron Munchausen with Sarah Polley and a fairly young Uma Thurman, I highly recommend checking out Tideland.
>>31808 >>31809 >>31810 >>31811 cute! >camera shows more more of their upper torso or southern regions also?
>>31859 Both girls arses on all fours barking like a dog and their tits.
>>31865 lol nice, thank you for the info wonder how they got away with that i mean 2014 is not that long ago and these things were already shunned by society
>>31869 It's not a sexual scene. Child nudity is often tolerated in non-sexual contexts. Mad Max: Fury Road had a cut scene were an infant's genitals were visible. The Oscar-Winning Nowhere in Africa has a couple of scenes where an underage actress' breasts are briefly visible. This movie is also too irrelevant to garner any attention. It doesn't even have an english-language Wikipedia page. Also for the thread: Frühlingssinfonie (1983) has a brief scene of Anja-Christine Preussler (age 11) nude at 18:34. The film is available for free on YouTube on the channel TEMPUS Collection - Multimedia - Record Label.
>>31873 It’s crazy to think how nuanced and specific every country and culture treats this sort of thing. It makes me curious as to how these things will evolve in the future. ;)

>>31873 >Frühlingssinfonie (1983) has a brief scene of Anja-Christine Preussler (age 11) nude at 18:34. The film is available for free on YouTube on the channel TEMPUS Collection - Multimedia - Record Label. "Most replayed"
>>31873 yes non sexual nudity is reasonably tolerated, but often less so the older the girl gets you make good points though regarding the movie not getting enough attention for that to be an issue also you seem to know your nudity examples well, thank you for sharing the knowledge >>31874 agreed
>>31873 I can think of many 80s movies with child/infant nudity presented in a non-sexual way (Parenthood, Baby Boom, The Blue Lagoon). More recently there was Innocence which had full frontal nudity but in shadows which made it "artistic" instead of gratuitous. There was a time when you could show almost anything in a film and director's showed some restraint, often so they could get a PG rating. Now we have movies like A Serbian Film which I hope to never see (reading the Wiki spoiler was more than enough), but I hope to see more films like Innocence and Moonrise Kingdom. >>31886 Not at all surprising. People usually want to see what they're told not to look at.
>>31322 couldnt believe i saw this unedited on turner classic movies
