We do not have endless space/memory and so we cleared some. It's either we don't do that and the site keeps malfunctioning or we delete. Those were 3 years of threads, so didn't see the need to keep that up. Sorry if the timing of that didn't work out for you.

I regret so much that I took this site for granted, only now I realize what an amazing place that is and how much has been lost. I remember saving content when /w/ had almost 30 pages starting from the oldest posts but stopped at page 19, I wish I kept going. Is there any chance you have offline backups of content that was deleted? If storage is the problem, why not pin monero wallet address under the top banner so people can donate? I would donate and I can provide guide for users how to safely buy monero.

Actually I shouldn't be whining, I have over 70k of pics/vids and I'm very picky otherwise it would have been a lot more. Some is very rare and unique stuff that's almost impossible to find anywhere else than my hard drive that needs 3 passwords, 1 PIM number and a key file to be decrypted lol. But still I'm so annoyed that these pages are gone, I knew it was going to happen eventually and I even started regularly saving content long time ago, it's a mystery for me why I stopped at page 19, I even have a note where I left off "Thread #2133 PinPing 07/08/2021".. it's not like I wouldn't be able to find time to save one thread a day next to my other activities and that would have been more than enough to save everything considering how much time has passed since then.

But I've learned from my mistake and I won't let it happen again, now I'm fully back in the game. This situation will only strengthen my resolve and motivate me to increase my technical knowledge. I will focus on building scrapers and on automation of other processes, instead of saving everything by hand I will bulk download, pick the content I like afterwards and delete the rest, everything will be far more organized and nothing will be left to chance (yes the 70k I have rn is hand picked content).
