Well, I wouldn`t say forever. But it was managable. Today even file hosts became a joke (Gofile and 7 days deletion, Mega giving 1GB traffic/day ). I remember when files hosts used to give 90 days at minimum, and infinite extension if at least 1 download was made before 90. And that for free accounts. Musics and movies always having a hard copy to never depend of stream. PC games with .ISO... I don't blame Snap or Stories (mostly). I blame the acception of "Don't ask questions just consume product and then get excited for next products" + Generation Z for finding ok whatever shit companies give them today due laziness/ignorance ("a software/hardware that is fully yours, forever, for a flat fee, what is that?) + sellout Millenials defending shit just to not lose their jobs or to look cool ("Windows 11 is the future! Why can't you accept future is always better than the past?") + X not giving a fuck above the bare minimum about tech ("There is more important things to care: look this funny 100% real baby with 5 legs in my Facebook Feed for example").

Yes, the problem is people don't save a page and later share the link. And even if shared searh engines never populate the results with such info (even if you are above the average user and know how to use key terms in Google). So the archive you make won't serve to anyone but yourself. Before you could use keywords to search inside WayBackMachine and Archive. Is for any page archived, not now. And newer content isn't archiveable anymore also.

The problem is hte content tha Waifust itself doesn't have anymore (for "reasons"). Most posts before 2021 are gone. They were archive under WayBackMachine and Archive. Is, still are there, but can't be accessed. So tough luck trying to find what was posted before. Bridget is one of the exmples: her first post is gone. Everything before Feb 2021 is unaccessible (I`m the user that promissed here
>>192024 to post an archive of her old content exactly because of such problem)

Even if you find a proper link from Waifuist in Archive. Is the file saved has only the thumbnail images of photos and no videos. Your only luck is using the thumbnail to search for the original image at other sites ( which is really cubersome due search engines now wanting to protect the privacy of everyone, even of public figures ) . There are ways, but they are a pain in the ass.

Yeah. I avoided to give any tip that requires anything more than using the mouse... I can garantee you saying "Then open CMD as administrator/Terminal as root" most people won't be able to understand, unfortunately =/

I like very much Zorin distro. I usually recommend it to anyone leaving the spyware that Windows is, if the person has zero knowledge about Linux. Way more user friendly than Mint (despite mint having way more searchable help online). It even has a Lite version, which is even ligther that Mint XFCE, I kid you not. Also run Windows .exes from the default instalation. The only issue is it doesn't allow you to do a new instalation already encrypted.
